József Marek (1868-1952) was a veterinary doctor, PhD, ordinary and honorary member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, head of the Department and Clinic of Internal Medicine from 1901 to 1935.
Plaster-cast copies of Professor József Marek's bronze bust by Medgyessy can be found in the Department of Internal Medicine of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, in the János Mócsy memorial room, and in the József Marek Hostel. (MMJ)
