Béla Nádaskay (1848-1931) veterinary and medical doctor,head of the Department of Anatomy (1886-1909), lecturer in obstetrics and reproduction biology (1882-1891), first editor and redactor of “Veterinarius”,the predecessor of the Journal of the Hungarian Veterinarians, (1878-1882), honorary and founding member of the Hungarian National Veterinary Association, its secretary and president for many years.
There is a half-length portrait of Nádaskay, similar to the one by Burghardt, in the teachers’ room of the Department for Anatomy.(MMJ)
